About Us

Geoff is a confidential business adviser offering consulting services to Clients at Board and Senior Executive levels.  He emphasises the assessment of teams and individuals.  Supporting services include director and executive recruiting,  training and development programs,  mentoring and coaching,  career counselling,  outplacement and remuneration advice.

He has 24 years of consulting and 32 years of profit centre management experience.

Geoff’s background was in  Design, Production and Project Engineering having roles with OTC,  Millers Brewery,  Mauri Bros,  Unilever, Kennedy van Saun Division of John Thompson, Brambles and AMF working for clients which included BHP, Bechtel, Fluor, Toyota, Parsons, Nabalco, Shell and Woodside.  He was appointed to senior management posts at Carborundum and Boral.

His interest in human resource consulting took him into senior consulting and Director roles with John P. Young, Price Waterhouse and a specialist recruiter to the property and construction sector.

Geoff established The Berry Group in 1999 providing HR consultancy services.  In 2004 he launched www.over50s-careers.com.au offering career counselling to the over 50s and “managing the aging workforce” consulting to employers.

Through business mentors R us and Clutterbuck Associates he qualified to design and run training programmes for mentors and mentees and to assess programmes to the ISMPE,  International Standards for Mentoring Programmes in Employment.
